The short news:
The Princess is now 7.
Her party is here at the house tomorrow night.
I have now been married for 10 years.
The appropriate Alaskan 10 year gift for the husband is a snowblower.
The appropriate gift for the wife is a Digital Rebel XTi, 10 mega pixal.
Pictures will be coming as soon as I teach the computer to talk to the camera. :o)
There is so much more going on, but I've got to run.

Go Bears!
We are being heathens today and skipping church in favor of sleeping in and getting ready for the Superbowl. Here in Alaska it starts at 2:25 pm. Prime snack time.
Actually the kids woke me up before 8 am asking if they could watch the highlight show...
Have a great day - regardless of the outcome!

One post a month...
Just isn't going to cut it for me anymore. I try to get in here and post, then get distracted and start reading about what everyone else is doing and then my time is up and I never post.
There has been fun stuff going on. I was a lunch lady last week. I was a daycare provider yesterday. Today was a Girl's Day with The Princess and I actually baked the banana bread with the going-bad bananas. It's been sunny the last two days. I'm really behind on sending cards for birthdays and thank yous for gifts. I'm going to be teaching/facilitating a bible study for some of the high schoolers at church, starting next week. Youth group teaching is going well. AWANA is falling through the cracks this year. The Princess got her first-ever report card and she is learning cursive. In.First.Grade. We totally made the right decision to move her to the private school. I planned a scrapbooking night last week and not only did 6 other people come, I got 9 pages started. I have to go back and do the journaling on the computer, but the pictures are stuck down. Girl Scouts is going well. We just finished our cookie pre-sales and I wasn't very stressed out about it, but then again I only had 7 girls selling and they have excellent parents. I'm behind on the laundry, but the kitchen is clean. I know what I'm making for dinner. I have 10 seconds left before I have to get the bread out of the oven, so I've got to run.
